January is nearly done.....

So, we are almost done with the first month of 2014! How are those New Years Resolutions going? Haven't set one? That's not a problem. Consider a new type of goal setting for this year that many of your coaches and community members have already started... and all it takes is committing to something for 30 days!

If you haven't yet, take a bit of time to watch this TED talk on the power of trying something new for 30 days this year.

Coach Danny created an awesome spreadsheet to help keep people accountable for their 30 day goals.

There is no better way to stick to something than to be held accountable by people that care about you, and our community is a strong one filled with others who care about your success. You goal doesn't have to be a great one. For instance, one of my goals for this month is simply to drink 20 oz of water first thing every morning. I have been able to stick with it, and I really feel better! It's little things like this that can help make big changes over the course of the new year. Consider this: it only takes about 30 days for that "something new" that you try to become a habit. What better way to spend 2014 than by building a few new positive habits to make life even just a little better?

If your not sure what to try, feel free to ask a coach or a member of the community, or simply take a look at the sign up document and "steal" from someone else! We are all about sharing right?

Can't wait to continue trying something new with everyone this year. Cheers to new habits!
