NorCal CrossFit Nov. 19th 2013

 

Big turn out today at San Jose for the CrossFit Total! This isn't even the whole day! Lots of PR's!

NorCal Endurance Club - Few Changes.

We are opening up our Endurance Club to outside members. There is a huge demand for good coaching and we are lucky enough to have the BEST coach in town so I guess it's only fair we share him! Initially, we are capping the club at 20 NorCal members and 15 Non-NorCal members. If numbers start to increase, we will be looking at creating a staggered start times with advanced runners starting 30min after intermediate runners. 

Rates

NorCal Members: $35 per month (effective 1st December)

Non-Members: $50 per month

Running Clinic

Focus:  Biomechanics plus a workout 

Where:  NorCal RWC facility.

When:  Sunday 24th November

Duration:  90 min
 
Cost:  NorCal members $0.00 and non-NorCal members $50
 
Capacity:  15 (max of 10 NorCal members per clinic)

Who doesn't love a good recipe!
Now that Fall is here, there is nothing I crave more than baked goods, but I don't want to sacrifice performance just to eat these sweet goodies. Can I get both? Of course! I have been experimenting a lot in the kitchen, and this recipe has become a staple in our house (Coach Rusty is pumped). I changed up this PaleOMG recipe just a little by substituting cashew butter and adding just a bit of coconut milk to make it extra moist. Any protein powder will do. It is delicious! It's also clean and keeps me full for a pretty long time. Try it out! Pair with a nice cup of coffee and you'll be fueled for the day ahead.

Workout for Tuesday:

On the first minute perform 1 pullup and 1 HSPU

On the second minute perform 2 pullup and 2 HSPU

etc etc until you can no longer perform the reps within the time frame.

* You can perform the movements in any order/configuration

* If you fail before 10min, take 1-2 reps off and join back in on the next minute
