How did you find CrossFit and what made you stick with it?

When I was deployed several of the guys at the gym on base would do Crossfit workouts and it looked like fun, but I was intimidated to start. After moving to Mountain View I wanted to meet people and was bored going to a “globo gym”. So, I walked into NorCal Mountain View, jumped in on a workout, got my ass kicked, signed up the very next day and was hooked. I stick with it because I love pushing myself past the limits of what I thought I could do physically and meeting some awesome people (including the Mountain View Team).

What drives you to compete? 

The reward you get afterwards aka eating every dessert possible and of course beating  the person you’re competing against.

What is your favorite all out – go for it cheat meal? 

ALL THE SWEET THINGS!!! Seriously, cupcakes (personal favorite), brownies, cookie dough, pancakes, donuts, Ben N Jerry’s, cake pops........

If you were to sum up your team in a few words, how would you describe them? 

Bro-cardio, lady gainz,  and the masters of memes.

What do you want to see come up at Regionals? 

Ummm jogging with a soft j. No? Ok then Deadlifts: any rep scheme, any weight and weighted pistols. 

What are you secretly (or maybe not so secretly) hoping does NOT come up at Regionals? 

Hurdles and cartwheels.

Do you have a lucky item of clothing that you always compete with? 

No, but I HAVE to be chewing gum.
