Meet Your Teams!! 

We have two NorCal Teams qualified for this years Regionals (second qualifier for CrossFit Games) plus three individuals, which is an awesome achievement! During these next four weeks leading up to the Regionals we will be profiling our athletes so you can get to know them a bit more!

How did you find CrossFit and what made you stick with it? A guy I had a serious crush on (who had placed me firmly in the friend zone) took me through a wod of 12-9-6 burpee, KBS in a globo gym this time of year two years ago. It was absolutely horrible I didn't even finish the workout, but I tried being into the CrossFit thing so I could hang out with him.  Now were getting married and going to regionals on a team together, so I'd say it was a good choice. 

What drives you to compete? By nature am a (hyper) competitive person and I compete because I like to see the fruit of my labor.  However, I am not personally motivated to do this kind of stuff on my own accord (because it's HARD), therefore I choose to compete on a team because I am willing to suffer like this for other people (my team and community).  

What is your favorite all out – go for it cheat meal? Pizza and beer

If you were to sum up your team in a few words, how would you describe them? "on Instagram straight flexin" 

What do you want to see come up at Regionals? swimming... 400 Free relay.  JK Umm... I guess high rep squatting coupled with gymnastics movements.

What are you secretly (or maybe not so secretly) hoping does NOT come up at Regionals?  Triple Unders... it took me a year to learn double unders.  I'm just not ready for that kind of lashing. 

Do you have a lucky item of clothing that you always compete with? nope

Power Snatch - 70% x 3, 75% x 3, 80% x 3, 3RM

Snatch Push Press + Overhead Squat - 70% (of sn or ohs) x 5+1, 75% x 5+1, 80% x 5+1, max 5+1
