Community Love

We love hearing from our community about how CrossFit transforms their lives. This is Trevor's story.

I had been interested in CrossFit ever since HGST started the program, but had been hesitant for a variety of reasons; they were all really just excuses.  A little over 6 months ago, I finally decided to give it a try. I made it my goal to lose 15 lbs.   

CrossFit is the best sport I have ever participated in.  I am stronger, I feel great, and it is a lot of fun. I’m excited about just about every WoD now.  I enjoy pushing myself a little harder every class.  The coaches are all great, and if I’m not ready for something, they help find a challenging but doable move that will help me make progress.  I have been impressed with their focus on proper form over all else. I’m proud to say that after these 6 months I’ve completely blown away my original goal… I haven't lost a single pound.  I have, however, lost a lot of fat and 4 inches off my waist size, while gaining a tremendous amount of muscle!  My clothes fit differently and people who haven’t seen me in awhile frequently comment on my significant weight lost. 

I just smile and tell then that I haven’t lost any, but I am a bit stronger.
