Are you a Cherry Picker?

Cherry Picking definition "The picker would be expected to only select the ripest and healthiest fruits. An observer who only sees the selected fruit may thus wrongly conclude that most, or even all, of the fruit is in such good condition. A less common type of cherry picking is to gather only fruit that is easy to harvest ignoring quality fruit higher up the tree. This can also give observers a false impression about the quality of fruit on the tree"

How about we go ahead and translate that for you folks in a more CrossFit friendly verse.

" The CrossFitter would be expected to only select the workouts they percieve to be enjoyable and some what good at. A Coach who only sees this CrossFitter in their element may thus wrongly conclude that they are competent, or even excellent, at all broad times and modal domains. A less common type of cherry picking is to only participate in workouts that are easy to complete with an above average score. This can also give Coaches/observers a false impression about the quality of this CrossFitter."

So, are you a cherry picker?

Extreme Fights In Armor.....This is going to be epic!!! 

These are not props people.....or are they!?

See veterans and new team members of this year’s American Knights, Battle of the nation’s US team, doing single extreme fights. Extreme fights in the ACL/BOTN allow, weapons strikes, kicks, punches, and throws to the ground. With an incredibly grilling 3 round format with limited rest between. 

First fight to start at 12:30, and event should end around 3:30 PM.

• 3hr program and having team members do extreme single ACL fights style fights

• 3 rounds 1 min each, with 1 min of rest ONLY between rounds.

• All fighters will fight 2 different set of fights with a different opponent 

• This is causal demo style thing for Friends and folk at Crossfit to have fun at 

• We will have beer and drinks out for people who come out and cheer fighters on 

Workout for Thursday:

Row 1km

With remaining time of 8min left amrap DU

Run 800m

with remaining time of 8min left find max Snatch

Run 400m

With remaining time of 4min left amrap wall ball

score = total reps + max lift
